Lucky in Love: Romantic Valentine's Day concert under the stars

ATLANTA -- Fernbank Science Center announces a special concert by renowned space music composer Jonn Serrie. Serrie will perform a romantic selection of his music on Friday, Feb. 13 for one show only, accompanied by the star projector and other visual effects at Fernbank Science Center’s Jim Cherry Planetarium.

“We’re so lucky that a composer of Jonn’s stature, who actually specializes in planetarium soundtracks, is based here in Atlanta,” says Fernbank Science Center astronomer April Whitt. "Collaborating with him on our holiday shows has been a treat for all of us, even more so for the audiences, so it’s wonderful to do something with him to observe Valentine’s.”

The concert, titled Lucky in Love, will take place the night before Valentine’s Day at 8 p.m. Tickets are being sold in pairs, and will include some special "sweets for the sweet" to enjoy along with the music.

Admission will be available at the door, but Fernbank Science Center recommends purchasing them in advance to assure admission. Tickets can be purchased through the Fernbank Science Center website, www.fernbank.edu.
