Emory commencement may lead to traffic problems

ATLANTA -- Emory University will hold its commencement ceremony Monday at 8 a.m., which may lead to headaches for commuters who usually use the roads around the school.

The university recommends drivers avoid Briarcliff, Clifton, Houston Mill and North Decatur roads Monday between 6:15 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Decatur City Schools may also be affected by the heavy traffic.

Roughly 15,000 people are expected to attend the commencement. Rep. John Lewis is the keynote speaker.
